JSC Russian Railways Logistics and JSC FVK, the head structure of the Freight Village Ru group of companies, have entered into an agreement on cooperation in the development of logistics services in the Vorsino industrial park. The corresponding document was signed by Andrei Tonkih, First Deputy General Director of JSC Russian Railways Logistics, and Yury Yuriev, Executive Director of JSC FVK, at the site of the International Transport and Logistics Forum PRO // Dvizhenie.1520.
The companies plan to create a new terminal and warehouse infrastructure in the territory of the Vorsino cargo village, which will expand the range of services of the Vorsino logistics center and attract additional volumes of export and import consolidated consignments transported in 40-foot and 20-foot containers. Also, all types of warehouse operations will be available at the new warehouse facilities: sorting, labeling, consolidation and deconsolidation of goods, customs clearance, including cargo requiring temperature conditions.
Until the end of the first quarter of 2020, the parties will jointly develop a business plan for the development of terminal-warehouse infrastructure in the territory of Freight Village Vorsino.
