Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port OJSC (Vladmorrybport) entered into a contract for the supply of a Kalmar container crane. The equipment will arrive at the port in March 2020 in assembled form on a specialized vessel from the port of Shanghai.
With the commissioning of the new crane, the number of Kalmar container cranes in the port will reach four units. The operation of the crane will increase the throughput of the container terminal.
According to the Association of Sea Trade Ports of the Russian Federation, the container turnover of the company in the first 9 months of 2019 increased by 32.3%, to 172.56 thousand TEU. Cargo turnover amounted to 3.49 million tons (+ 4.1%).
