Acron Group, one of the largest fertilizer producers in Russia, sent 23,000 tons of mineral fertilizers to China. This is the world's first transportation of fertilizers along the Northern Sea Route. The goods were loaded onto a ship in the Baltic port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad Region). From there, the cargo will proceed to the ports of China.
China is the largest consumer of mineral fertilizers in the world. In 2018, he imported 1665 thousand tons from Russia in the amount of $ 395 million.
