Operational and financial results of the FESCO Group in 2018

According to the results of 2018, intermodal transportation of the FESCO Transportation Group increased by 23.9% to 301.8 thousand TEU, short-sea shipping by 19.1% to 79.5 thousand TEU. International sea transportation remained at the level of 312.5 thousand TEU. According to the results of the year, VSTP, a member of the Group, increased container handling by 17.7% to 551 thousand TEU, general cargo handling - by 60.7%, to 5.28 million tons.

Among the main events in the past year also noted:

  • launch of railway services for the delivery of export cargoes from the Russian Federation to China through Mongolia and Kazakhstan;
  • the beginning of the transportation of grain in containers in both domestic and international traffic;
  • the fleet of fitting platforms in the management of the Group grew by 19.8% to 5,079 units;
  • the fleet of the Group was replenished with the universal cargo ship FESCO Nevelsk, the container ship FESCO Dalnegorsk, purchased at the end of 2017, began work;
  • The transaction on the sale of a 25.1% stake in the share capital of PJSC TransContainer was closed.

Group consolidated revenues grew by 30.3% yoy to 57 billion rubles. EBITDA increased by 36.0% yoy to 10.61 billion rubles. EBITDA margin increased from 17.8% to 18.6%. The revenue of the port division increased by 39.5% to 13.12 billion rubles. Division EBITDA increased by 30.6% to 5.89 billion rubles
