The Government of St. Petersburg has approved the conclusion of an agreement with the Passenger Port St. Petersburg Sea Facade on the development of a land plot of over 328 thousand square meters. meters to the address: Vasileostrovsky district, the shore of the Neva Bay VO, building 1A.

The project envisages the construction of a customs inspection and clearance of goods for the rapid unloading and loading of cargo vehicles and an auxiliary building for the production and engineering personnel in this area. With the completion of the reconstruction of the checkpoint at the seaport, a year-round ferry service is planned with the possibility of accepting cargo vehicles (eurotour, euro-tents).

The implementation of a set of measures for the reconstruction of the checkpoint will contribute to the achievement of the main general transport results stipulated by the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 and the Strategy for the socio-economic development of the North-West Federal District for the period up to 2020.

The planned volume of investments will be more than 200 million rubles. The construction period of the object and the agreement on the development of the land plot is 36 months.

The project is implemented within the framework of the St. Petersburg target program “Implementation of an investment project for the development of a marine passenger terminal on Vasilyevsky Island in St. Petersburg”.
